Emily Ratajkowski posts Instagram bikini selfie to celebrate pregnancy

Emily Ratajkowski, 29, has shared an eye-popping bikini selfie with her more than 27 million Instagram followers to mark a special occasion.

Emily Ratajkowski has shared a cleavage-baring selfie to celebrate six months of pregnancy.

The 29-year-old model is expecting her first child with husband of two years, Sebastian Bear-McClard, 31, with the baby due in February next year.

And to mark the end of her second trimester, Emily, who owns the swimwear range, inamorata, took to her Instagram on Thursday posing in a brown bikini top.

“Six months,” she simply captioned the shot.

It shows the mum-to-be with her hands on either side of her body as she stares directly into the camera.

Since sharing the post, it has attracted more than 1.4 million ‘likes’ and over 3500 comments from fans and celebrities alike.

Fellow models Ashley Graham and Lily Aldridge posted heart eye and love heart emojis, while one follower joked, “But you’re showing the wrong bump,” referring to her cleavage.

“Beautiful mama,” wrote another, while a third said, “The best part of pregnancy”.

The 29-year-old announced on Vogue’s October digital cover that she’s expecting.

She also filmed a pregnancy reveal video, directed by friend Lena Dunham, in which she shows off her growing baby bump and plays footage from an ultrasound.

Throughout the video, a nude Ratajkowski cozies up to her husband.

“There’s a quietness that comes with pregnancy, a humbling,” she narrates. “I’m listening for you. I’m full of wonder.”

She later adds: “I cannot wait to see who you will be.”

Emily hasn’t revealed the sex of her baby – and during her interview with Vogue, she explained she will allow her child to decide on its gender.

“When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after ‘Congratulations’ is almost always ‘Do you know what you want?’” she said.

“We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this.

“There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: The truth that we ultimately have no idea who – rather than what – is growing inside my belly. Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are? This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled.”

Emily and Bear-McClard, who is a producer, married in 2018 after a brief romance.

Since announcing her pregnancy, the model and actress has proudly showed off her growing baby bump with her 27 million Instagram followers, including a naked snap at 20 weeks.
