‘Dragon girl’ gets vampire fangs in latest body modification

A Brisbane woman dubbed “dragon girl” for her head to toe tattoos and piercings has undergone another wild body modification.

"Dragon Girl" goes blind for three weeks after tattooing eyeballs

A tattoo-clad Australian model, who calls herself “Blue Eyes White Dragon” on social media, has added a pair of vampire fangs, in her latest body modification.

Amber Luke, a 25-year-old Instagram star from Brisbane, is covered in ink from head to toe and has spent more than $55,000 on her body art.

However she recently added “fangs” to her extensive collection.

“Fangs extended thanks to @smiling.dental #bodymodification,” she captioned an Instagram post showing off her latest addition.

Amber, who also has her tongue split and earlobes stretched, said her razor fangs are sharp enough to pierce through skin.

The extreme change to her teeth is an extension on points she’d had carved into her gnarly whites, extending them further down the sides of her mouth and making them more “fang”-like.

The Capalaba model has amassed more than 50,000 social media followers showing off her prolific body art of more than 250 tattoos and piercings, which also include her blue-inked eyeballs.

To achieve this unique look, Amber had to undergo a painful 40-minute procedure.

“I can’t even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like [the tattoo artist] grabbed 10 shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye,” she said, speaking about the ordeal.

“That happened four times per eye, that was pretty brutal. Unfortunately, my artist went too deep into my eyeball.”

She said she temporarily went blind as a result, adding: “If your eyeball procedure’s done correctly, you’re not supposed to go blind at all.

The 25-year-old became fascinated with body art at 16, and has gone on to cover her entire body with ink, including her face, eyebrows and even eye lids.

The Instagram star recently found herself in court after she pleaded guilty to seven drug-related charges, including trafficking, supplying and possessing dangerous drugs and receiving property obtained from drug trafficking.

However, in May this year she avoided jail.

Brisbane District Court was told how she raked in thousands of dollars peddling street-level drugs before a dramatic bust by police in August last year.

But instead of being led away to the cells, Amber was instead given immediate parole to seek treatment for her raft of serious mental health issues.

The court was told Amber was now self-employed in the beauty industry and had taken positive steps towards her rehabilitation.
