The hardest working item in my wardrobe is… my A.P.C linen trench coat. I walked past it in the shop window in NYC and went “Gotta have it!” I wear it almost every day. It’s missing two ties and a button but I can’t let go.
My most recent purchase was… my Acne grey jeans. As every woman knows, getting a pair of jeans that you feel A+ amazing in can be tricky. These fit me just right and have a bit of stretch.
Three items every woman should own are… a good pair of jeans, one purse that feels like an investment piece, it doesn’t even have to be crazy expensive, it just has to feel amazing. And a great red lipstick — I like YSL Rouge Pur (right).
Bags or shoes...? Don’t make me choose! A bag can dress up an outfit more easily but a good shoe has transformative capabilities and can give you a real swagger.
My make-up MVP is… Cle de Peau concealer. (Jessica Jones co-star) Krysten Ritter turned me on to this and I’ve never looked back.
My ultimate skincare saviour is… washing my face religiously before bed. Neutrogena Micellar Gel to Foam removes make-up first and then cleanses skin, so you really feel like all that make-up residue and impurities are gone. It’s nice to feel like you have fresh skin and it can breathe for a minute.
The wardrobe I wish I could raid belongs to... I think all of us would like to get into SJP’s wardrobe, can you imagine? I bet there are some iconic pieces in there
My bad-hair fix is... avocado oil. My hair is coloured and a bit fried. A little on the ends does the trick.
I’m currently binge watching… Stranger Things on Netflix.
My signature scent is… sandalwood oil. I don’t wear perfume.
I start my day with tea... and graduate to coffee mid-morning. I have to work up to it.
My comfort food go-to is... cheese anything. A cheese toastie! Too much dairy doesn’t sit well with me, but I can’t give up cheese
My favourite Sydney spot is… Bronte, it always takes my breath away how beautiful the city is but Bronte has a particular kind of magic to it.
My party trick is… bringing up politics or being too opinionated when I probably shouldn’t be.
I’m listening to… Kylie Minogue (always!), Kurt Vile and This American Life podcasts.
My five, real or fictional, dream dinner party guests… Julia Gillard, Lena Dunham, Melissa Rosenberg (the creator of Jessica Jones), Amy Schumer and Donald Trump — wouldn’t that be fun?
If my life had a hashtag, it would be… #lucky
