A reality television star has been slammed for the lunch she packed her five-year-old daughter.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, 23, recently took to her Instagram Story to show off her eldest daughter Ella’s pink and purple bento box filled with whole strawberries, frozen grapes and eight mozzarella sticks.

“Goodmorning [sic],” Efird, who is the daughter of “Mama June”, captioned the post, Page Six reported.

A fan shared a screenshot of the mom of four’s Story on Reddit, where a user asked, “Who the f**k gives their kids mozzarella sticks for lunch?”

Others were quick to criticise Efird’s food choices in the comments section of the thread.

“So dangerous and unhealthy!” wrote one critic.

“I’m more disturbed by the quantity here. It’s the fact that she’s being taught to eat like this,” added another.

“And 8!? … how hard is it to make a sandwich JFC,” commented a third user.

“Cheese stick [sic] are a choking hazard,” warned a fourth person, while another said the meal had “zero protein” and was “all fat and sugar.”

“That’s too much cheese for a five yr old. Hell, it’s too much cheese for an adult really,” another replied.

One more critic suggested that the reality star should give her children leftovers since “she’s always cooking a ton of food.”

Lauryn shares four kids with her husband, Josh Efird. They welcomed Ella in 2017, followed by their son Bentley, two, and one-year-old twins Sylus and Stella.

Last June, Lauryn was also awarded sole custody of her younger sister, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six at the time, June, 44, was ordered to pay Lauryn $800 per month in child support until Thompson’s 18th birthday, which was this past Monday.
