‘Satisfying’ detail in mum’s Aldi shop
The Sydney mum of three has been amazed by the reaction to her grocery shopping video, which has gone viral for one reason.
When Rania Zalloua went shopping at her local Aldi last month it didn’t go unnoticed.
The one minute video of her shop, which showed the 43-year-old Sydney mum of three neatly stacking her groceries into separate sections like pantry, meat and dairy, was watched by more than 485,000 people.
“ It was nice to film it but people in the shops were looking (at me) like, ‘what is she on about?’” Rania told news.com.au.
Together with her daughter Melissa, 21, Rania runs TikTok account @keep_it_organised where she shares shorts clips of everything from restocking her fridge to cleaning her bathroom.

The page has 1.4 million followers and her most watched video has been viewed more than 29 million times.
Typical comments, like those on the video of her Aldi shop, praise Rania for organising her trolley and label her video “satisfying” – but she got backlash over one surprising detail.
“I don’t buy a lot of fruit and veggies from Aldi, mostly I got to the market,” Rania said.
“That’s why I got some hate, because I don’t have fruit and veggies in my trolley.”
Melissa started the account for her mum last October after coming up with the idea to showcase Rania’s epic organisation skills online.
“If there’s a lot of mess I don’t feel good, so I always have to clean and make everything organised,” Rania said.

The first video of Rania tidying the kitchen got more than 220,000 views, but it was a video of her restocking her fridge containers posted in December that truly went viral, garnering a whopping 20 million views.
“We got heaps of messages saying she inspired them, a lot of people went and bought more containers and were sending her pictures,” Melissa said.
Since then Melissa will usually film a video of Rania doing something around the house about once a day, but with one rule.
“She’s shy,” Melissa said with a laugh.

“When my daughter is recording some videos for me, I always tell her make sure my face is not showing,” Rania added.
While their videos are increasingly popular they still cop hate over small things, even down to what food Rania buys her family.
“A lot of people defend her actually when she gets negative comments,” Melissa said of the negative feedback.
“Someone said she was buying too much groceries now during the pandemic and it was bad.”
They’ve also started an Instagram, @keep_it_organised, where Rania gets DMs from people begging for her to tidy up their disorganised homes.
“They send her photos of their pantries saying she inspired them, they ask for tips and they ask for everything she uses in the kitchen,” Melissa said.
Rania’s biggest piece of advice? It’s that there is a “place for everything and everything in its place”.
She likes to give the bedrooms a quick tidy everyday and washes her fruit and vegetables in vinegar before putting them away.
“The kitchen should be very clean at night,” Rania. “I can’t wake up to a messy kitchen, I can’t.”
