Phoebe Burgess has made a stunning return to the spotlight — four months after welcoming her second child amid reports her marriage was in trouble.

Shortly after Billy’s birth, Phoebe’s three year marriage to her NRL star husband Sam Burgess was thrust into the spotlight after it was reported the couple had told family and friends they were separating.

Despite huge public interest in the famous family, the mum-of-two kept an extremely low profile.

Now Phoebe has come out the other side, revealing her two kids have been the source of her “strength” recently.

“It’s about keeping on going for the greater cause, which is your family,” she told news.com.au.

“I’ve drawn strength from my children and the people that I love, particularly looking into my children’s faces. They’re the best thing ever and it’s the most meaningful job I’ll ever have.”

Phoebe — who was speaking in her new role as an Ostelin ambassador — described how life has changed since Billy joined their family, along with older sister Poppy, now two.

She said her decision to work with the bone supplement was because they shared the same core “family values” and was looking forward to being the face of strength for the brand.

“Strength for me in my life comes from motherhood, it’s the resilience we face and the ability to keep on going no matter how imperfect your day, it’s having that inner strength to keep going,” she said.

Part of the brand’s new campaign is celebrating life’s “big little wins” — something Phoebe said she does regularly these days.

She and NRL star husband Sam Burgess were rumoured to have called time on their marriage just weeks after welcoming baby Billy to the family.

“It’s become a huge part of my mental journey as a mum, which can be a lonely time.

“But this is something I say to my friends, even if all I’ve done is manage to get out to meet for a coffee. It’s a great mindset to adopt.”

Wearing a figure-hugging white dress, Phoebe also touched on the pressures on new mums to “bounce back” to their post-baby bodies.

“People always ask me how I ‘bounced back’ but I didn’t she said. “I don’t have my old body anymore, I have a new one.”

While neither Phoebe or Sam confirmed the split reports were true, the pair appear to have put the difficulties of the past few months behind them since Sam was snapped moving out of their Sydney home in January.

Last month it was claimed the pair were “back on track” after Phoebe was pictured supporting hubby Sam as he trained for a big Rabbitohs game.
