While most positions are front and back-of-house roles, the golden arches are also seeking delivery drivers, management and maintenance workers.

The hiring spree comes after the hospitality giant released its ‘Make Mates at Maccas’ campaign aimed at enticing workers of all ages to join the company which has been formally recognised as an Employer of Choice for four years running.

The range of roles also come with flexible working hours, with both day and night positions being advertised.

“We are looking for enthusiastic crew to join the team at our (restaurant location) McDonald’s. We have a variety of positions available including customer service and food preparation roles,” each job description starts off.

Most roles require little level of experience meaning just about anyone can apply for crew member positions so long as they have full working rights to be employed in Australia.

The job ad states successful candidates are those who are well-presented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, passionate about delivering high levels of customer service and are keen on working with a team.

“Hospitality and retail experience is not required; we provide extensive training to all of our staff including barista training for any applicants interested in joining our McCafe team.”

As for the perks of working at Maccas, it doesn’t stop at meeting new people and getting hands-on experience.

Successful applicants are eligible for the restaurant’s employee discount scheme which enables staff to purchase Mcdonalds’ products for 20 per cent off the publicly listed price.

Additionally, as part of its MyBenefits program, employees are entitled to product discounts with over 1000 retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Coles and Myer.

There’s also opportunities to grow within the team with a number of supervisor and management positions available to those with leadership skills.
