New Zealand Food Safety deputy director-general Vincent Arbuckle stressed the severity of the issue, stating, “The concern with these biscuits is that they are marketed at babies and young children, who could get seriously sick from bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella if they swallow animal droppings.”
Consumers who have purchased these biscuits are advised to not eat them and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
If you are concerned about your child’s health after consuming this product, seek medical advice immediately.
