Popular pasta sold across Australia recalled over contamination of ‘foreign matter’

A popular pasta sold at independent retailers and online across the country has been recalled after plastic was found in the food.

A popular pasta dish sold at independent supermarkets has been recalled after it was found to be contaminated with plastic.

The 360g portion of Dineamic Creamy Pesto Pumpkin Gnocchi With Broccoli is being pulled from shelves after a presence of “foreign matter” was discovered in them.

The pasta product had available for sale at independent food retailers in NSW & ACT, including IGAs and the Dineamic Foodstore in Victoria.

They were also sold online in NSW, ACT, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.

Dineamic Australia Pty Ltd is recalling the products with used by dates of June 8, 10 and 12.

Food Standards Australia said those who purchased the Dineamic dish should not eat it and return it to the place they bought it for a full refund.
