The forgotten Australians snacks that need to return

When it comes to forgotten Aussie snacks from our childhood, we all have a favourite. But there is one we love more than the rest.

Snacks just tasted better as a child. Only a child could honestly say they can tell the difference between different M&Ms.

But sadly, like many things in life as you grow older your dreams are crushed and your favourite snack suddenly disappears.

Now news.com.au wants to try and at least make one of your dreams come true.

We want to find out Australia’s favourite forgotten snack and then campaign for it to be rightfully returned to the shelves.

And the clear leader is Tasty Toobs with more than 50 per cent of the vote.

Here are some of the Aussies who miss that unique Toob taste.

Ricky: As a child if I was ask if I wanted anything from the little shop the answer would always be a packet of TOOBS please. I just loved the tasty morsels. Back then though they would fit on my fingers! Please bring TOOBS back!

Michael: I always used say “whatever happened to Toobs?”, then one day, there were not 1, bit 2 rows of them in the vending machine. Then a few months later, they were gone again.

So choose wisely in the poll below, because this really is the most important decision you’ll make today, or maybe ever.

Bradley: I emailed toobs awhile ago about bringing them back was told no plans on bringing back they are best chips you can get would have brought up big as a kid if I had known they were being dropped

Voting is still open, so if you disagree jump in and have your say!

We asked you to comment if we missed any, and yes OK, we get it, we left off Space Food Sticks.

This is regrettable and those weird space sticks have now been added to the poll
