New Cadbury ‘Caramel Slice’ block by Curtis Stone launches in Coles

A new Dairy Milk flavour you can only buy at Coles has blown up on TikTok, with one reviewer giving it a solid “10 out of 10”.

Curtis Stone launches new Cadbury block

Details of a new Cadbury block created by a famous Australian chef have emerged online, sparking excitement among chocolate fans.

Curtis Stone has collaborated with the iconic confectioner to give the humble Dairy Milk bar a fresh twist on its 100th anniversary – launching a “caramel slice” flavour that has sent shoppers running to stores.

The block features the brand’s classic milk chocolate with a smooth flowing caramel, vanilla flavoured crème and crunchy biscuit pieces.

Official news of the Curtis Stone block has yet to be announced by Cadbury, but an eagle-eyed Coles shopper has already spotted the chocolate on shelves and shared it to social media.

TikTok user @deficitincalories shared a short clip of the $5 bar at his local Coles and was so inundated with requests for more information, he posted a review just an hour later.

“If you like Caramello Koala, you’re are going to love this. Think Caramello Koala, vanilla cream and biscuit pieces all in one,” the Melbourne man said.

“It doesn’t taste exactly like a caramel slice, but it comes pretty damn close for a chocolate bar.

“Curtis Stone and Cadbury did their thing on this. Highly recommend it to anyone that loves caramel. I’m tossing up between 9.5 and a 10 out of 10.”

It didn’t take long for the TikTok video to blow up, earning more than 350,000 views in less than 24 hours.

Many declared they were “running” to the supermarket to buy one, as others revealed their local Coles was yet to stock the new block.

“I just went to Coles and didn’t see this,” one user wrote.

“Ooooo must try this one,” another said.

Someone else wrote: “How long have they been out? I can’t find it in regional Victoria.”

One woman who had managed to snag the new block declared: “I’m never buying that ever again. I ate the whole block.”

Many more tagged their friends, inviting them to share the chocolate together.

Another excited social media user recently wrote on Facebook that she’d discovered the new block was launching, writing: “I’m so excited.”

Commenting on the Facebook post last week, one person said: “OMG is this real? I’m going to look for it tomorrow at shops.”

“Any idea when we may see it in store?” another asked.

The chocolate block is exclusive to Coles, presumably because of Curtis Stone’s role as an ambassador for the food retailer. News.com.au understands the item officially launches on June 15, but some stores have already started displaying stock.
