McDonald’s releases Pokemon Match Battle Happy Meals in Australia
From September 23. Aussies can get their hands on a new toy inspired by the anime Pokemon. The promotion runs for just six weeks.
It’s a game that has gripped generations and now it’s even easier to get in on the action.
McDonald’s Australia has released a new Pokemon Match Battle Happy Meal, available from September 23.
The promotion will run until November 2, giving customers a total of six weeks to snap up a toy.
The Pokemon phenomenon has gripped the world for years, starting as a video game before becoming an anime show, card games and a viral phone app in the form of Pokemon Go.

For a limited time, Pokemon fans can buy a Happy Meal and received their Pokemon Match Battle.
The kit includes four official Pokemon Trading Card Game cards, a spinner, coin, and instructions.
There are a total of 12 Pokemon Trading Card Game sets up for grabs.
Characters include Pikachu, the show’s most well known creature as a source of lightning and humour, as well as Ash Ketchum’s best friend, Gossifleur, Rowlet, Smeargle, and more.
