KFC releases exciting new menu item for just $2.95

Fast food giant KFC has brought back an old favourite to its dessert menu, but promises that this time it’s got double the flavour.

Fast food giant KFC has released a new dessert that chocolate lovers will be eager to taste test.

The fried chicken chain has announced a Double Chocolate Mousse dessert, which retails for $2.95.

Chocolate mousse has been on the menu at KFC in the past but now it has a new look and more chocolate in the recipe.

Fans of KFC were excited to see the new incarnations of the sweet treat.

“Zinger fillet with chips and mousse in a burger is low key flames,” one person joked.

Another added: “Was I the only one who didn’t know this existed?”

A third said: “KFC chocolate mousse = underrated.”

A KFC spokesperson told news.com.au: “We’re always looking for fresh ways to delight our fans with new and downright delicious menu items.

“Our new and improved Double Chocolate Mousse is choc(cy)-a-block full of rich chocolate flavour, delivering velvety-smooth, melt in your mouth goodness that makes for a perfectly indulgent end to your KFC feed.

“Now available at KFC restaurants across Australia and via delivery on the KFC app, swing by and give it a try!”

Chocolate mousse has been on the menu at KFC in the past but now it has a new look and more chocolate in the recipe.

In a paid partnership with the fried chicken chain, Love Island Australia season three winner Tina Provis made a KFC run to try the new dessert.

“Dessert should always come first,” Tina said as she dug into the mousse.

“The double chocolate is there, it has an airy consistency but she’s thick and rich in chocolatey flavour.

“I got two so I can have another one when I get home.”

Tina is known for her taste tests, posting clips of her trying Filipino food, new Allen’s items, KitKat new releases and different ice cream flavours.
