How you can win $10k with Macca’s Summer Cash Giveaway

Aussies who spend $10 or more at McDonald’s this December will go into the running to win a share of $3.1 million with the fast food giant’s Summer Cash Giveaway.

As if we weren’t excited enough for the festive season – and the end of 2020 – McDonald’s have upped the ante, giving you even more incentive to treat yourself to that pre-Christmas cheeseburger meal.

From tomorrow, December 1, customers at the fast food chain who spend $10 or more before December 31 will have a chance to win a share of $3.1 million with Macca’s Summer Cash Giveaway.

With the competition running at all Australian chains, you’ll have a shot at winning one of the ten cash prizes each day for the entire month, valued at $10,000.

“As the year comes to a close, we are excited to launch our Summer Cash Giveaway for the very first time, giving 10 Aussies the chance to win $10,000 every day of December,” McDonald’s Australia’s marketing director Jo Feeney told news.com.au, “It’s been a challenging year for so many Aussies and we know $10,000 could make a real and positive difference for our customers as we head into the holiday season.

“With $3.1 million to give away to a total of 310 lucky winners, this cash will no doubt go a long way.”

Marketing director Jo Feeney said the competition ‘could make a real and positive difference’ for Australians after a rough year.

As for how you can throw your hat in the ring – customers who order $10 or more on the MyMacca’s app will be automatically entered into the competition to win, with those who order and pay in the app receiving an automated double entry into the competition.

If you don’t have the app, you can still get involved as customers who spend $10 or more in restaurant or the drive-through can use the unique code at the bottom of their receipt to enter the giveaway here.
