A Coles shopper has shared her two-ingredient hack to create the “gooiest” chocolate cake ever, using two unlikely items.

A Coles shopper has shared her two-ingredient snack hack to create the ‘gooiest’ chocolate cake ever – and her social media followers were surprised at the results.

TikToker @claudiashops has shared her two-ingredient cake hack, saying she was looking forward to trying the recipe, though she added, “This is not healthy.”

Claudia has previously gone viral for a different two-ingredient cake hack, which involved cake mix and a can of fruit.

This time around, the recipe called for eggs and chocolate spread to make the “gooiest, chocolatiest and yummiest” cake ever.

“I have not tried this before so let’s get to it,” she said, adding she was a big believer in using items already in your pantry.

That’s why she used smooth chocolate hazelnut spread from Coles, with a 400g tub costing $2.50.

The recipe required a cup of the spread and four extra large eggs.

“If ‘trust the process’ had a cover photo, it would be this,” she said as she mixed the two ingredients together, adding it looked “rank”.

Claudia said the recipe advised to whisk the egg whites before folding in the hazelnut spread and egg yolks, but as this was meant to be a snack hack she just threw them all in together and beat with an electric mixer.

“It’s nearly ready and it smells really good and it’s rising fine,” she said after putting it in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes.

Claudia said the dish smelled delicious, adding it could be made more aesthetically pleasing with a dusting of icing sugar over the top.

After trying it, her verdict was it tasted “so freaking good”.

Social media users were just as excited, offering suggestions on how to improve the recipe.

“That looks yum! Could throw some peanuts or fresh raspberry in or something maybe too,” one person commented.

Another said: “I love the snack hacks. Keep them coming.”

“I’m actually tempted to make this ngl [not gonna lie],” another wrote.
