Arnott’s unveils one of four new indulgent Tim Tam flavours, coming in 2021
Arnott’s have given us another reason to look forward to 2020 ending, with the announcement of four new Tim Tam flavours.
While it’s hard to imagine anything being better than the original, Arnott’s have promised four new decadent flavours, unveiling the first one today.
Arnott’s spokeswoman Amy Wagner revealed the new variety would be Murray River Salted Double Choc during a weekend television segment.
“We know that our Tim Tam fans love trying new flavours, we have four coming out in January next year,” she said on Saturday morning.
“The Salted Double Choc is to die for, I love it.”

While it’s hard to move past the original chocolate Tim Tam, the Murray River Salted Double Choc biscuit hits all the right salty/sweet notes.
The new flavour is the first release in the Tim Tam Crafter Collection, inspired by the tastes of Australia.
The latest flavour comes on the back of last year’s successful limited edition release of four Aussie flavours.
The 2019 flavours included: Murray River Salted Caramel, Sunshine Coast Strawberries & Cream, Gisborne Orange & Dark Choc, and Manuka Honey & Cream – and fans are speculating whether any of those will make a comeback in 2021.
Murray River Salted Double Choc will hit shelves in 2021, but the company is offering fans a chance to be one of the first 100 to try the new biscuit. All you need to do is head to the website to enter the draw.
The winning flavour will join the classic Tim Tam flavours already on supermarket shelves, as well as the recently launched Tim Tam Crafted Collection inspired by the tastes of Australia and New Zealand.
“There’s no denying that Tim Tam is Australia’s most-loved chocolate biscuit with its uniquely indulgent combination of biscuit, cream filling and chocolate coating,” Arnott’s marketing manager Matt Grant told news.com.au back in May.
And Tim Tam fans go crazy for new flavours. So much so, the company put the decision in consumers’ hands earlier this year, letting the fans choose the new flavour.
