The new Tim Tam flavour is in your hands – Double Choc Caramel Cream or Coconut Cream

Arnott’s has created two new flavours of the iconic Aussie biccie, but only one can will hit shelves. Which flavour should it be?

Who better to decide on the next new Tim Tam flavour, than Aussies themselves.

That’s right, Arnott’s is putting this very important task in the hands of the true experts.

The choice is between Double Choc Caramel Cream and Coconut Cream and the winning flavour will launch exclusively in Coles.

To help break it down, this is what you can expect in each flavour.

Tim Tam Double Choc Caramel Cream is two crunchy choc biscuits sandwiched together with a toffee style caramel flavoured cream, covered with a thick coat of milk chocolate.

Tim Tam Coconut Cream is also two crunchy choc biscuits sandwiched together but with a sweet, creamy coconut flavoured filling, covered in milk chocolate.

The two choices will no doubt spark a massive debate with both flavours making strong cases to become the newest indulgent addition to the Australian pantry.

The winning flavour will join the classic Tim Tam flavours on supermarket shelves, as well as the recently launched Tim Tam Crafted Collection inspired by the tastes of Australia and New Zealand.

“There’s no denying that Tim Tam is Australia’s most-loved chocolate biscuit with its uniquely indulgent combination of biscuit, cream filling and chocolate coating,” Arnott’s marketing manager Matt Grant said.

“We know that our Tim Tam fans go crazy for new flavours, which is why we wanted to give them the power this time, by asking them to decide on our next new and exciting flavour.

“And we can’t wait to see what they decide.”

Arnott’s said the choice had “already sparked a mass debate”, with Tim Tam ambassadors Christian Hull and Tanya Hennessey having feet in opposing camps.

While Tanya chose Coconut Cream, Christian thinks its Double Choc Caramel Cream for the win. Oh the controversy.

Australians can cast their vote on the TimTamVote website. You have until June 2 to make your decision count, so make sure it’s a good one.
