Aldi shoppers desperately trying to nab ‘melting snowman’ drink

Aldi fans have bombarded Facebook groups on the desperate hunt to try and get their hands on a Christmas drink like no other.

Aldi fans are desperately trying to get their hands on a popular Christmas drink — and we can understand why.

The German retailer is now stocking a hot chocolate like no other and members of almost every Aldi Facebook group in Australia is on the hunt for the $3 item.

“Has anyone in North Brisbane seen these??” one woman asked in the Aldi Fans Australia group.

“I’ve been waiting and waiting,” said another, while a third added: “I have been waiting weeks for these in Perth and still no sign of them, need 7 of them as gifts. Not liking my chances at this rate.”

Shoppers from all over the country have been trying to nab the product, with a woman from Western Australia also revealing she’s had no luck.

“Only managed to get them yesterday as well. I’m in Redland Bay Qld,” one customer responded, while another added: “I’m so glad you posted I’ve stalked 4 Aldis for 2 weeks. Just popped to Vic point and got them.”

The Milk Chocolate Melting Snowman is a novel way to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate.

It involves dropping the ‘snowman’ into a cup of hot milk and as the shell melts, it ’pops’ to reveal chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.

After it all melts away, it creates a “delicious” hot chocolate drink and Aldi shoppers are going wild for it.

Others who had no idea about the hot chocolate were also eager to give it a try.

“They look so cool I must have a look at our (store),” one customer wrote.
