US woman’s sex life ‘ruined’ by 107kg weight loss
A woman who overhauled her health and fitness has revealed her incredible transformation has come at a major cost to her love life.
A US woman who lost more than 100 kilos after enduring her “worst nightmare” at a theme park has revealed her transformation has “ruined” her sex life.
Scarlet Corsi was bullied as a child because of her size, recalling how the kids at school would deliberately trip her up in hallways and shout: “Run, fatty, run.”
They also hurled a string of cruel names in her direction on a daily basis, which in turn led to Corsi feeling isolated and turning to food for comfort.
She continued to rely on food as her crutch, leaning on it even more when her mother died in 2018, which saw Scarlet hit 177 kilograms.
A year later, the now 36-year-old was at her largest, revealing she would binge on a “sickening” amount of food.
But a “humiliating” experience at Universal Studios eventually saw Scarlet hit a turn in the road, and her life has now taken a new direction.
The nature lover had been excited to try the theatre experience, but said she was too big even the seat designed for larger parkgoers, stating the seatbelt “wouldn’t even go halfway around”.
“I stood up and ran off and everyone’s laughing,” she explained.
“I was crying and humiliated, it was so crushing. They spotlighted me in a dark theatre, it was my worst nightmare.”
In 2020, Scarlet switched her junk-filled diet, which saw her drink 12 cans of fizzy drink every day, for a keto diet.
Every day she’d have a protein shake for breakfast and lunch, followed by lean meat with salad or vegetables for dinner.
It was a far cry from her old meal plan, which consisted of two cans of Monster coffee energy drink served with biscuits for breakfast.
Scarlet would follow it up with a box of 30 chicken strips, potato wedges and another with two green Monster energy drinks for lunch.
Dinner was a big bag of items from her local servo that didn’t sell that day, including burritos and pizza sticks, with Cokes and coffees to drink.
After switching her diet, she underwent gastric sleeve surgery, eventually dropping nine dress sizes.
However, Scarlet isn’t entirely happy with the results, as she’s been left 12 kgs of loose skin.
“I feel punished for all my hard work and I’ve changed from one monster to the next because of my skin,” she said.
“I’m still walking around ashamed of my body and can’t be proud of it.”
She said the excess skin impacts every part of her life – including physical intimacy with her boyfriend Justin King, 34.
“It’s really affected my intimacy and romantic life with my partner,” Scarlet explained.
“It doesn’t matter how I turn, bend or lean, I’ve got something hanging.
“I don’t enjoy [sex] because the whole time I’m horrified of my own body.
“I make flapping sounds and all kinds of weird sounds and squishes.”
Her breasts have also been affected, with the 26-year-old revealing they are now “horribly saggy”.
“I have to roll [my breast] up and tuck it in my bra,” she stated, adding no matter what she does her boobs are always “spilling out the top or bottom”.
Scarlet added that she feels guilty that Justin is “stuck with her” and that he “shouldn’t have to be with someone that looks melted”.
“I feel ashamed that we both have to see it... it feels like he gets punished for loving me.
“It’s just nothing but saggy, melting skin and you know your partner loves you but you know to see it is probably horrifying.”
The excess skin has also caused rashes, chafing and infections and made it harder to fit into clothes and exercise.
In order to fund her surgery dreams she made an OnlyFans but when that failed she created a GoFundMe.
