‘No credible trainer would/should share this’: Adele’s pilates instructor slammed
The British hitmaker’s incredible weight loss has attracted international attention – but not everyone is happy about how it’s being shared.
Adele’s diet has been slammed by a fitness expert after the singer’s trainer dished secrets from her 1000 calorie-per-day diet.
Alice Liveing kicked off on Twitter after pilates teacher Camila Goodis, 36, “betrayed” Adele’s trust and shared details of her diet on UK television show Lorraine.
Adele’s remarkable transformation made international headlines, and ‘Brazilian Body Wizard’ Camila claimed to have a hand in the Brit singer shedding 44kg.
But Alice Liveing, also known as Clean Eating Alice, says it probably had nothing to do with Camila as she hit out at the LA-based trainer for trying to further her own career.
The 26-year-old kicked off with a furious post, telling fans: “For the record, no credible trainer would agree to their client eating only 1000kcals a day
“No credible trainer would suggest green juices to be the elixir of good health … No credible trainer would/should share this confidential info for their own gain.”
She also suggested Camila went public without Adele’s permission and said: “I have trained celebrities in my time and when asked in interview about said clients, I have always remained silent because of client confidentiality, their privacy and the fact that that is their information to share, not mine.”

And tearing into Camila’s technique, she said in a third tweet: “These ‘so called’ celebrity trainers need to realise that putting someone on a 1000 calorie a day diet and an intense workout regimen doesn’t make them a good trainer.
These âso calledâ celebrity trainers need to realise that putting someone on a 1000 calorie a day diet and an intense workout regime doesnât make them a good trainer. It makes them the instigator of seriously disordered eating habits and the health repercussions that accompany it

“It makes them the instigator of seriously disordered eating habits and the health repercussions that accompany it.”
In one final swipe, Alice, who has 50,000 Twitter followers, and 647,000 Instagram followers, said if she was ever interviewed on Lorraine it will be for her expertise and not connections to a celebrity.
Iâm not going to get on to Lorraine riding on the coat tails of a celebrity client.

If I ever do get on TV it will be because I am a credible trainer in my own right and I donât need to compromise their privacy to further my career.
Adele has been trying out the sirtfood diet, which encourages slimmers to eat plant foods such as kale and buckwheat.
These foods, known as sirtuin activators, suppress appetite and activate the body’s “skinny gene”.
Sirtuin activators are also believed to protect cells in the body from dying under stress and are meant to regulate inflammation, metabolism and the ageing process.
The sirtfood diet allows slimmers to eat dark chocolate and drink red wine, as they are high in sirtuins.
The Sun revealed earlier this year that the hit maker had taken up reformer pilates with pal Ayda Field, with Camila training the pair at Ayda’s home.
Adele has increasingly been training at home following her high-profile split from husband Simon Konecki, 45, in April 2019.
