‘Never too late to change’: How mum ‘got body back at 50’
A 51-year-old mum has shared her weight loss journey online, revealing a straightforward act that helped her achieve her figure.
Three years ago, at 48, she was “too big and unfit” to walk 10,000 steps.
But these days Billie Steele, who’s now 51, manages that and more daily.
In fact, reaching the 10k step count is one of the free hacks Billie swears by to maintain her enviable figure, The Sun reports.
“I got my 20-year-old body back at 50,” the UK woman explained online.
In a video which shows her walking along in a baggy, oversized T-shirt, she reveals the “hacks” she used to achieve how she looks now.
She’d swapped the loose clothes for a crop top and tight leggings – showing off her washboard stomach in the process.
“It’s NEVER too late to change your life,” Billie wrote in the caption.
People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “Damn you look younger!”
“Wild how weight ages us like crazy. You look amazing!!!!” another added.
“SHUT UP! OMG THAT’S AMAZING,” a third commented.
“Damn. Speechless. You go girl,” someone else wrote.
But others refused to believe Billie’s claim – written in her TikTok profile – that she achieved her new look “without surgery”.
“Who’s your doctor? You look awesome but let’s not act like it was from working out lol,” one wrote.
“Looking great!” another added.
“How much did your surgery cost? What doctor/ plastic surgeon do you recommend?”
As a third commented: “How much did the work cost? And how long was recovery?”
Billie responded to the comment above in another video, as she listed her weekly costs – including $16 a week on the gym and around $98 a week on groceries.
She also explained that she walks 10,000 steps daily – which is free – as well as drinking three litres of tap water a day, also free.
“I hope that answers all your questions,” she concluded her video, the perfect, cheeky response to the troll.
“Love this response! You look fan-f***ing-tastic!!!” one person commented on that video.
