Married At First Sight ‘villain’ Olivia Frazer has opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing that she has lost 13kg since she left the reality show.
The 28-year-old teaching assistant took to Instagram on Friday telling her 164,000 followers she weighed about 80kg while filming MAFS.
“Now I’m back to 67kg as of this morning,” she said.
“I try to stay between 60 and 65, so a few more kilos [to lose],” she said.
Olivia previously revealed she weighed 95kg throughout her teenage years before deciding to have gastric sleeve surgery when she was 22.
But after suffering from gallstones during her recovery, the now 28-year-old said she lost a dangerous amount of weight, dropping to just 45kg.
“My recovery was pretty good except I developed gallstones … When you have rapid weight loss you can develop that,” Olivia said earlier this month. “So I was in a lot of pain. I went from 95kg to 45kg within a year.”
According to healthdirect.gov.au, gallstones can block the tubes that carry digestive fluids to the bowel.
Olivia also revealed she managed to avoid overly sagging skin as a result of the procedure.
“I didn’t have much loose skin. I had a little bit in my arms but my [breasts] were very saggy, I had to have them done,” Olivia said, referencing a breast reduction she underwent after the gastric sleeve surgery.
During MAFS’ premiere episode back in February, the Newcastle-based reality star said her weight affected how she treated herself as well as her relationships with men.
“I felt like I had to settle for whatever I could get and I did. I settled for what I thought I deserved which is awful because I definitely deserved a lot better,” Oliva said at the time.
She added that a lot of her insecurities “definitely stemmed from being overweight”.
“When I was a teenager I was about 95kg and I tried to be as confident as I possibly could on the surface,” Olivia said.
“But deep down I knew everyone’s staring at the fat girl trying to fit into a skirt.”
On Friday through her Instagram Stories, the reality star also addressed more questions from followers surrounding the impact of her surgery.
“I can’t drink and eat at the same time, so I have to finish my drink at least 10 minutes before I can eat,” she said.
She also hit back at those who accused her of taking the easy way out by having surgery. “F**k off!” she replied. “Surgery [is] the last thing anybody ever wants to do. It is the last resort.

“It’s not fun not being able to eat like everybody else, it’s not fun to not be able to drink like everybody else.”
She added the surgery has caused her to “vomit all the time” due to her stomach being too full, reiterating it’s not a cosmetic procedure, but was done for her health.
“I had to sacrifice a normal life so I could be a healthy weight. I look in the mirror and I like myself,” she said.
