UK reality star Chantelle Houghton flaunts 25kg weight loss in bikini
A Big Brother star has shown off the efforts of her weight loss journey in an itsy bitsy bikini – and detailed her new fitness regimen.
A British reality star has been spotted wearing a tiny string biking after losing 25kg.
Chantelle Houghton, who appeared on Big Brother UK, showed off the efforts of her new lifestyle while on the beach in Spain.
The 39-year-old posed in a red two-piece as waves lapped around her, looking happier than ever.
In one photo of her sun-soaked getaway, the mum-of-one can be seen wading through the water as she adjusts her bikini bottoms.
In another, she can be seen frolicking on the sand.
It comes after Houghton revealed strangers had previously congratulated her on being pregnant when she weighed 83kg.
The reality star, who rose to fame when she went into Celebrity Big Brother as a “fake” housemate in 2006, gained weight during lockdown in 2020.
However everything changed when she adjusted her diet, swapping fast food for greens, and introduced exercise.
“My new lifestyle of eating healthy, meditation, exercising and manifesting have had such a huge positive impact on my life,” she told The Sun.
“I am in love with wellbeing and self-care. Who doesn’t love a transformation?”
She also said she had introduced personal training sessions which had helped her achieve a healthier weight.
“Feeling very proud of my 4-stone [25kg] weight loss. I just want to say a huge thank you to my family and friends (you know who you are) for supporting me through the last 10 years of my life and getting me back to being ME,” she wrote on Instagram recently.
“Thank you for carrying me when I had no strength. I love you all.”
Brits fell in love with Houghton during her TV stint when she was just 22, after she managed to convince a group of well-known celebrities she was a singer.
She went on to marry her Big Brother co-star Preston, the English singer in the band the Ordinary Boys, in 2006 – just four months after she won the show.
However the pair divorced less than a year later.
She later had a daughter with cage fighter Alex Reid, who famously dated British glamour model Katie Price, but the pair split in 2012.
