SAS Australia: Ali Oetjen stuns in ripped bikini look

After putting herself through the gruelling paces of the reality show, Ali Oetjen’s hard work has paid off with the star now seriously ripped.

Ali Oetjen might be slogging it out on our screens in SAS Australia currently, but in real life the former Bachelorette has been making the most of the warm weather.

The 34-year-old posted beachside for a photo shoot to promote her new range of crystal necklaces on the Sunshine Coast last week, looking incredible in a yellow bikini by Baku Swimwear.

Posting a photo from the shoot on her Instagram Oetjen’s fans were quick to praise the glowing reality star for being “body goals”.

“Wow Ali. I hope you feel as incredible inside as you do out,” one person wrote, while another added: “Oh my gosh, you are so beautiful! The hottest person alive, surely! A true 10!”

Oetjen’s followers also praised her for her appearance on SAS Australia, where she has spoken candidly about her battle with panic attacks and break-up with Bachelorette winner Taite Radley, which happened just before filming of the show began.

During SAS interrogation, a tearful Oetjen admitted to suffering with anxiety after becoming famous through three stints on The Bachelor franchise.

She said she felt a “bit empty” after splitting from Radley, revealing she still believed they were meant to be together.

“I met an amazing man, and we spent two amazing years together,” Oetjen said, wiping away tears. “He didn’t want the same things that I wanted. I still think he’s my soulmate, but our timelines are different.”

HOW ALI GOT FIT FOR SAS AUSTRALIA

Prior to filming SAS Australia, Oetjen had been living with Radley in the Victorian town of Ballarat, meaning she had to do two weeks of hotel quarantine before she could start the show, which was filmed in NSW’s Snowy Mountains.

In a Instagram post last month, Oetjen revealed that she had used her time in quarantine to prepare herself physically and mentally for the challenge of SAS Australia.

“After driving from Ballarat to Snowy Mountains with all my personal belongings in my car, the isolation was what I needed to face and feel into my sadness and loss so SAS was not even on my mind,” she wrote.

During her two weeks in quarantine, Oetjen abstained from alcohol and ate fresh and healthy food with a brownie as her treat every night.

She meditated twice a day as well as doing one hour of yoga, journalling and spending at least one hour sitting on her hotel room balcony in the fresh air.

Oetjen also does ab workouts, strength-based exercises and would spend an hour walking around with a 20 kilo backpack in her hotel room to prepare for the gruelling reality show.

She didn’t watch TV and allowed herself to feel “denser/darker (sh*tty) emotions and not distracting myself from them; crying everyday, wrapping myself in a blanket and just being miserable, focused on going slow, being grateful everyday and remaining present”.

Oetjen rose to fame by appearing on the first season of The Bachelor starring Tim Robards before going on to appear on Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelorette, where she met and fell in love with Radley.

She has since become a wellness influencer on Instagram and is a meditation and yoga teacher and a life coach.
