Model Hannah Polites ‘real’ post-baby booty loved by fans
A Gold Coast model and mum has shared her “brave” booty transformation with her 1.3 million fans — earning her huge praise.
A mother who gave birth just two months ago has shared photos of her impressive booty transformation.
But while Hannah Polites’ before and after selfies show a visible difference in the tone and definition of her behind, it’s the important message she shared alongside it that has captured the attention of many.
The Gold Coast mum-of-two, who gave birth to her second child, son Arlo, at the start of June, has been using filters to help her “look and feel my best” as she navigates motherhood.
But when she turned down the chance to have a photo with her eldest child Evaliah during the pregnancy and the little girl asked why, she came to a stunning revelation.
“I declined because I had no make-up on. Evaliah said, ‘But why mummy? You are so beautiful though’,” she wrote, describing it as the moment things “hit home”.
“I remembered that seeing me in my pjs with my bare face is her normal and our favourite times,” she continued.
“I also looked back at so many of my IG stories with Evaliah and we had cartoon filters hiding our faces, and I felt sad I couldn’t see what we really looked like.”
Hannah described the booty selfies as “not your typical transformation” because she was ditching the filters and embracing the fact “perfection doesn’t exist”.
“I’m a proud mama in sweatpants and equally proud when I’m glam and don’t smell like vomit,” she said. “I’ll never be perfect or flawless and this doesn’t define my worth. I’m perfectly ‘imperfect’ and unapologetically me.”
Since Hannah shared the unedited photos last night, her 1.3 million fans have showered her with praise, calling the decision “brave” and “beautiful”.
“I love this! I often wondered why you used filters when you are so beautiful anyway! You have a very wise and gorgeous daughter,” one said.
“So happy you have shared this! There is so much pressure to be perfect and always Instagram ready,” another wrote.
“Love you for being real, it has such a positive effect and really resonates with me,” one mum added.
Just days after giving birth, the 27-year-old shared a naked photo of her before and after labour that quickly went viral.

Hannah admitted it was a “little confronting” for her but wanted to be as “real” as possible with her Instagram community.
“I was tired, pale and a little sore but so proud of what I’d just achieved the day before,” Hannah explained. “The human body is so amazing, and I’m so thankful that mine was able to grow, birth and now nurture my boy.”
The mother-of-two said she was in no rush to “bounce back” and would just be focusing on her family and new baby — adding she will not be exercising for at least six weeks.
Hannah made a name for herself through viral fitness posts, and while her rock-hard abs and toned bod attract an array of people, she has gone on to pick up a new set of followers among fellow mums since giving birth to daughter Evaliah in August 2016.
She has documented most of her recent pregnancy journey, revealing the highs and lows, happiness and struggles of motherhood.
Fans were quick to praise the social media star, applauding her decision to be open and honest about all aspects of motherhood.
“I don’t have kids but I think these type of posts of social media are SO important for women, thank you,” one wrote.
“You’re so brave for sharing! It’s nice to see real people like you,” another said.
However, she has also copped her fair share of backlash — most recently when she posted what fans labelled a “staged” labour photo.
Wearing a matching grey outfit with her husband, Hannah shared the snap to her Instagram just hours before she welcomed her baby son to the world.
In the picture of the smiling family, who stood behind a newborn’s car seat occupied by a teddy bear, a word board read: “Mama is in labour and baby is nearly here.”
But many of the model’s followers were quick to rip the post as a “bizarre” and “outlandish” thing to do in the throes of labour.
“Is taking the time to set up a staged photo for Instagram when you’re in labour problematic?” a Facebook user asked of the snap.
“I think it’s bizarre that everything on Instagram has to be staged and ‘squared’ for everyone to see,” another added. “Surely a quick tired selfie would have been more appropriate.”
