At 64, this Melbourne woman became an online sensation sharing workout videos with her teen granddaughter – but not everyone is happy.

Grandma, 64, gets more male attention than 19-year-old granddaughter

A super fit grandmother has claimed she gets more male attention than her 19-year-old granddaughter – with the 64-year-old revealing young men often send her “d**k pics”.

Lesley Maxwell, from Melbourne, began working out at when she split from her ex husband 14 years ago and has since become a fitness influencer, amassing almost 60,000 followers with her gym workouts and selfies.

She shares her passion with her granddaughter Tia, 19, and the pair often exercise together.

But the teenager has admitted her gran’s youthful appearance means she often gets more male attention, with Lesley even receiving unsolicted “d**k pics” from men Tia’s age online.

“Because she looks amazing for her age, she does get a bit of attention,” Tia told Love Don’t Judge.

Lesley adds: “The guys are from about 18, which is really funny. Sometimes they’re really naughty – I think they call them d**k pics.

“I take everything as a compliment, it’s really great that they even follow me.”

Despite having 45-years between them, Tia said it “does not feel” they are so many years apart.

“My grandma is so close to me, it feels like she’s my age half the time,” Tia said.

While Lesley’s daughter Vanessa – who is Tia’s mum – also has the fitness gene, she doesn’t approve her mum’s scantily clad Instagram feed.

“There’s times when I’ll go on my Instagram and I’ll see what she’s posted and I’ll call and I’ll go, ‘mum, delete it. Get it off’,” the 42-year-old said.

But Lesley said she has “no problems” being in a “teeny bikini” despite her daughter’s pleas for the racy social media photos to stop.

When the three of them workout together in the gym, they are constantly causing confusion over who is who.

“If I’m with my mum they think that we’re sisters and if I’m with Tia they think we’re sisters,” Vanessa said.

“And for you two [points at Tia and Lesley] they get mother and daughter for you two.”

Lesley and Tia lap up the attention, regularly sharing photos of themselves together in matching activewear and working out.

In February, they shared a video titled “fit granddaughter vs fit grandma” that showed them completing a range of different movements, including pull ups, hip thrusts and sumo squats.

The pair shot to Instagram fame back in October 2019 when Instagram users went wild over their matchy-matchy outfits and workouts.

In a video that showed them going rep for rep, people went wild, declaring Lesley “the coolest grandma I’ve ever seen”.

Others asked if she was single while plenty declared them “sexy” and “inspirational”.
