Former PM’s daughter Frances Abbott stuns in beachside photo
She’s been keeping a low profile since she moved to the US last year, but Frances Abbott has shared a rare snap from a recent beach holiday.
Frances Abbott has been keeping a low profile lately.
But the daughter of former prime minister Tony Abbott has reappeared on Instagram with a bright and beaming beach photo — and she’s positively glowing.
Last October, the 28-year-old moved with her husband Sam Loch to Portland, Oregon in the US, where she regularly shares black and white yoga snaps and dog photos with her almost 10,000 followers.
But the love birds are currently enjoying a break in the seaside town of Newport, prompting Frances to share her joy at being by the water again with a stunning swimsuit-clad photo.
“How much I have missed the big blue,” she captioned her delighted snap, which showed her spreading her arms out as if to almost embrace the ocean.
You can’t miss the huge grin also spread across her face, showing just how happy she is to be reunited with the sea.
Fans of the fitness fanatic — who married Sam just three months after meeting him in February 2018 — rushed to compliment the image, calling it “everything”.
“You are so powerful!! always a light to see,” one said.
“Oh my goodness! This picture is everything! I love you!!!” another wrote.
Another wrote: “So happy to see you so happy.”
The last photo of Frances taken at the beach was shared on her social media account back on October 30, right before she and Sam moved to America.
It showed the former bodybuilder flaunting her toned physique — and impressive six-pack — in the water at Manly beach.
Since then Frances appears to have become a full-time yogi, ditching her weights for the art of flow and flexibility. She regularly shares photos and videos of herself practising the mindfulness technique along with meaningful quotes and messages.
Just before she moved overseas, Frances shaved off her long blonde hair and debuted a buzz cut, something she later described in a social media post as feeling nervous about.
Frances hit the headlines back in November 2017 when she became engaged to her now husband, the former Olympic rower turned weightlifter, after just two weeks.
Earlier that year she launched her new career as a bodybuilder, competing and taking home a few medals in various competitions.
