Fitness blogger reveals that a sixpack photo all comes down to the right lighting

THERE’S a pretty easy way for the world to think you have abs and it isn’t really about exercise anymore — it’s all about how good the lighting is.

MEET the fitness babe who is trying to prove that perfect tummies with “ab cracks” are often down to clever lighting.

Imre Cecen is a blogger who often shares inspirational pictures and health stories with her 260,000 Instagram followers, The Sun reports.

But the buff babe has decided to demystify those perfect “ab cracks” loved by celebs and fitness fans across social media — and prove that sometimes the sought after chiselled look is just simply down to the lighting.

Cecen says that it simply isn’t possible to bring that “perfect” lighting around everywhere with us.

She adds that the reason why it seems like all “Insta models” look amazing all the time is because they only post pictures with decent lighting.

In an inspiring post showing her in two different kinds of lighting, she wrote: “I like my body equally in these pictures; simply because both are my body and both are beautiful.”

She said that she used to feel upset if her abs didn’t show in pictures — but now she knows it’s just down to simple lighting and posing combos.

She added: “In the left picture there’s an artificial light shining so bright that most shades disappear.”

“On the right there’s only natural light leaving room for shades which give that definition.”

“Whether or not your definition will show is all about the brightness and angle of the light source.”

The blogger regularly posts inspirational pictures of her “behind the scenes” looks, encouraging her followers to love themselves for who they are.

The “ab crack”, which is a visible divide down the centre of the stomach, has been made famous by models and celebrities such as Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, and Stella Maxwell — and many young women see the line as a sign of “perfection.”

Cecen’s post will be a relief to anyone worrying that their body is less than perfect and demonstrates that sometimes Instagram models’ bodies are unrealistic.

She added: “It’s 100 per cent normal that your body looks different when the lighting changes.”

“It happens to all of us.”

“Know that your body is beautiful in all lights, all shapes, all colours and just all everything.”

“Own your body for it’s the only one you’ll ever have!”
