Christie Brinkley, 65, flaunts incredible bikini body

Christie Brinkley may be old enough to be your grandma, but the Sports Illustrated model has shown fans age is nothing but a number.

Christie Brinkley is officially living her best life.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 65, took to Instagram on Monday to share a few snaps from a recent beach getaway, and she looks simply amazing.

Proving that age is nothing but a number, the mum-of-two totally owned her famous figure.

In the photos, Christie is rocking a skimpy black string bikini that flaunts her incredible beach bod — while she lies in the sand and soaks up the sun.

“Early Morning Swim ..Fish were jumping Pelicans swooping by and warm Rays of Sunshine ...just soaking it all in ! #luckyhousepc,” she captioned the set of photos.

Brinkley — who once vowed not to pose in a bikini again — wowed fans with her new bikini snaps, with many praising the model for her “inspirational” posts.

“Goodness you are so inspirational! Your posts make me happy,” one wrote.

“Age really is just a number. Thank you for reminding us,” another said.

One wrote: “Once a swimsuit model always a swimsuit model. Damn woman you are an inspiration.”

Fans have been losing it over the beach snaps, calling her ‘inspirational’.

Last month, the supermodel — who rose to fame in the ’70s as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit pin-up and has gone on to grace more than 500 magazine covers — revealed her personal secrets for ageing gracefully.

“I hear actresses constantly talking about how you hit a certain age and offers don’t come in anymore,” Brinkley told The Mirror. “We’re changing that a lot, and that is because, frankly, we’re healthier today.”

Brinkley credits that to clean living.

“We’re a generation that has been exercising, has been eating right, and so we feel good,” she explained. “But so many women despite that still get influenced. There are so many things that influence us to feel we should be thinking about slipping away and winding things down. (Keeping young) is to be able to be out there active, doing things, learning new things.

“Being curious about the world, taking on challenges, and constantly growing and learning, that’s the fountain of youth… Those things are the things that keep invigorated.”

KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY

The supermodel and mum-of-two posed alongside her daughters Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley Cook in 2017 for the swimsuit magazine that made her famous.

“My first thought was, ‘At my age? No way!’” she told People magazine at the time, revealing her daughters encouraged her to do the shoot for “one last” time.

While it was one daughter’s first time in front of the lens, it wasn’t Sailor’s first rodeo.

The mother and daughter are so close, they look like sisters and even walked at New York Fashion Week together in 2018.
