Australian basketball star Liz Cambage has stunned in her latest Insta post, sharing her “favourite picture of 2019”.

The 28-year-old athlete, who plays for the Las Vegas Aces in the US when she isn’t representing Australia, was on the cover of ESPN Magazine’s Body Issue back in September.

In the photoshoot, Cambage holds a diamond-encrusted basketball, poses in a mirror-filled room and even shoots a few hoops — all without any clothes on.

The pictures were taken by photographer Sophy Holland, who posted the series of pictures to her Instagram back then.

But with only a few days left of 2019, Cambage was clearly reminiscing on the past year and decided the incredible picture of her posing with the crystal basketball was her favourite.

In her caption, Cambage said she “still can’t believe” she was a part of the magazine’s body issue.

Cambage is one of the biggest stars of America’s WNBA league.

By the end of the 2018 season, she was leading the league in scoring and has been voted into the All-Star Game three years in a row.

Cambage has also represented Australia in the national Opals’ team for more than 10 years.
