So how did Neighbours starlet Olympia Valance get her summer body?
She showed off her toned figure in a bra and knickers for her latest shoot modelling UK lingerie brand Gossards, and is well and truly in summer mode for her role as the face of the Jeep marquee at the Portsea Polo next month.
“I reckon this is the best shape I’ve ever been in,” Valance told News Corp Australia.
“I’ve found this new gym, F45 (in Melbourne), I go six times a week and I do boxing. For the first time in my life, I’m really loving training,” Valance, 22, said.
“When you’re training you want to eat well and I’ve stopped drinking as much — that’s made a big difference.
“Normally, I’d have a wine with dinner and when you want to feel healthy, you don’t do that sort of thing.”
“I don’t have a straight up and down body.
“I’ve always been quite curvy. I always thought I had quite a toned physique but it wasn’t until I started really working out every day and you eat better, it has completely changed the shape of my legs and stomach, everything — my arms and shoulders.
“It’s working harder and training harder.”
Valance is the face of the Jeep marquee at the Portsea Polo next month. So what are her tips for dressing for one of summer’s VVVVIP events?
“It’s about comfort, really. I always wear a wedge — I never say go flats but I always put a wedge on rather than a stiletto otherwise you’ll be digging into some serious grass,” Valance said.
“It’s usually really, really hot at the polo, so I like flowy dresses. I love the beachy, summery look,” she said, adding headbands and straw hats were a must for accessorising a polo outfit.
The stunning brunette is on a five-week break from shooting Neighbours, with her character Paige kidnapped in the season finale.
“I was ready for a break,” Valance said with a laugh.
“By the end of the year, all the big storylines ... are emotional and people are leaving and it’s like, oh my gosh. I can’t do one more day of crying.”
