‘I’d f------ eat you for breakfast you c---’: driver in foul-mouthed run-in with cyclist
MAN dubbed ‘the angry butcher’ has been outed as Aussie expat cafe owner as video emerges of extraordinary road-rage run-in with cyclist.
HE’S been dubbed the ‘angry butcher’ and you really don’t want to get in his way.
A man caught on video unleashing a vicious torrent of abuse at a cyclist in the UK has been identified as Aussie expat and master butcher Jason Wells.
Mr Wells, who now operates an up-market UK cafe chain, has been outed in the British media as the driver filmed screaming in bug-eyed rage at a cyclist who allegedly tried to overtake his Land Rover Discovery as the pair travelled along a country lane in Roehampton, the local Richmond & Twickenham Times reports.
Video shows the men shouting at each other through the driver’s open 4WD window, before he pulls over, gets out and unleashes an extraordinary three-minute tirade at the cyclist, who he accuses of hitting his vehicle, telling him to get in “the f------ cycle lane.
“Put your bike down you c---. F------ idiot. I’d f------ eat you for breakfast. You simple c---,” he screams in an Australian accent.
“I’ll call the f------ police. Did you thump my car you c---? I’ll f------ kill you, c---.
“I’ll smash your f------ teeth down your throat.”
The cyclist can be heard goading the driver, telling him to “come on” and threatening to go to police several times.
“Get away, get away. You f------ ignorant driver,” the rider can be heard shouting.
“I am legally allowed here.”
The footage was filmed on March 14.
Representatives of Mr Wells’ Brew Cafe chain refused to comment, while police said a 50-year-old man had voluntarily attended a south London police station “where he was interviewed in connection with the incident. The man was not arrested.’
