IT’S only been a couple of weeks but the David Lawrence print dress, $249, is shaping up to be this summer’s bestseller.
Since dropping in store, hundreds of units have sold and it has been one of the most requested looks for magazine shoots.
David Lawrence general manager Louise Dickson says it’s because the shape suits everyone. “It has only been in stores a short time and is already flying off the shelves,” she said. “It is the perfect summer find.”
The side pockets, roll-up sleeves and a classic tie-waist make the print dress one of the most flattering silhouettes for curvy figures.
CHRISTMAS SPIRIT AT BISSIKE
LOCAL brand Bassike has joined forces with ceramics company Mud Australia to create a limited edition collection of Christmas decorations.
Proceeds from the porcelain line will go to the Mirabel Foundation to support children orphaned due to parental drug abuse.
The range includes half-glazed baubles, a large star, and a small star in milk and slate tones that are in keeping with the brand’s minimal palette. Prices start at $10.

LONDON CALLING
IF you stroll into the Belinda boutique this week, you will notice the lace trend has taken over.
The Double Bay store has invested heavily in the look from UK-based designers Christopher Kane and Erdem.
Co-owner Jacky Yencken says Sydneysiders also love a pop of colour.
“Digital prints are phasing out and it’s all about Kane’s craftsmanship and Lanvin’s exquisite ruffles,” Yencken said.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite brand, Roksanda Ilincic, will also arrive in store this month.
