Dally M Awards red carpet: Best looks of NRL’s night of nights
The glamorous frocks didn’t disappoint on NRL’s night of nights — with one WAG stealing the show in a body-hugging skimpy dress.
The WAGS of NRL didn’t hold back in the glamour stakes at the Dally M Awards.
NRL’s awards at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion may be all about the players, the red carpet has been dominated by the women of rugby league — with one newcomer stealing the show in a eye-catching dress.
Mitchell Pearce’s girlfriend Kristin Scott brought serious glamour to the Dally M red carpet in a backless sequined gown.
The skimpy look showed off the dancer’s killer figure, with Kristin keeping her makeup and accessories simple.
Also bringing sexy back on the Dally M red carpet was Zoe Marshall, with the media personality and wife of Benji Marshall rocking a figure-hugging sequined dress as well.
Zoe complimented her dress by wearing her hair in a sleek straight style and sported a smoky eye makeup look.
Also wearing one of the most attention grabbing looks of the night was Brittney Tamou:
The wife of Penrith Panthers player James Tamou wore a floaty, lilac gown complete with thigh split and a keyhole cut-out over her cleavage.
Brittney accessorised with pointed heels and a feather in her hair.
Bri Gardoni, the partner of Parramatta Eels star Mitchell Moses, channelled old Hollywood glamour in an emerald green off-the-shoulder gown.
Parramatta Eels player Blake Ferguson let his girlfriend Dominique Moraitis steal the spotlight from him in a plunging sparkly gown that showed off plenty of leg.
Also making a statement in a sparkly gown was Jesse Arena, the partner of another Parramatta Eels player, Clinton Gutherson.
Courtney, wife of Rabbitohs player Damien Cook, broke away from the sequins and statement colours outfits of the Dally M red carpet
The blonde looked stunning as she cradled her baby bump in a white one-shouldered gown which featured a flower embellishment.
Journalists Yvonne Sampson, Lara Pitt, Jessica Yates and Hannah Hollis made a splash on the red carpet in statement gowns.
Canberra Raiders captain Jarrod Croker’s wife Brittney was wearing a gorgeous one-sleeved sequined dress with train by designer Daniel Avakian.
Jarrod looked equally stylish in a white tuxedo blazer and black pants.
Also seriously upping the style stakes is Tegan Martin, with the model looking like a golden goddess in a custom dress by Cassandra Renée Couture.
Turning up the heat in a fire engine red suit by Bianca and Bridget was Kate Daly, the partner of Brisbane Broncos player Ali Brigginshaw.
The striking ensemble featured a seriously plunging neckline, with Kate accessorising with matching red stilettos and a statement clutch.
Despite being expected to attend Channel 9 sports journalist Erin Molan wasn’t seen on the Dally M red carpet.
It’s been a tough few days for the TV personality, with reports of a “feud” between her and rugby league legend Andrew Johns.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the “feud” between them dates back to 2017 when Molan replaced Paul “Fatty” Vautin as host of The Footy Show
The reported link between Molan the decision to drop Johns from Nine’s Friday night NRL coverage has seen her trolled online for Johns’ disappearance.
The online abuse has prompted Molan’s former Footy Show co-host Beau Ryan to exclusively tell The Daily Telegraph it is “bulls***” for trolls to blame the reporter for the decisions of Nine management and she was “broken” after years of social media trolling.
“That’s what happens to these reality stars … they get on there and think everything’s going to be rosy and then they get trolled and can get really down and dark. I saw that happen to Erin,” Ryan said.
Ryan isn’t the only media figure to defend Molan, with others also leaping to her defence.
Love you. Thank you X

All I will say is that if anyone has a problem with @Erin_Molan than the problem is with them. Erin is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and an amazing person.

Poor Erin Molan receives so much crap, & itâs essentially just because sheâs female. People need to remember sheâs a qualified SPORTS journalist, was one of the first women reporters for the NRL and everything comes down to âshe didnât play footyâ her looks or gender. STOP
