Kmart’s $30 lilac linen blazer sparks Instagram frenzy

It may have only just landed in stores but Kmart fans are already going wild over this trendy new item, adding that the retailer as “struck again”.

It didn’t take long for Kmart fans to pounce on the retailer’s stylish new Spring addition.

Despite only hitting stores in the past few weeks, social media has already become awash with posts from shoppers showing off their trendy and affordable new Kmart buy.

The $30 Linen Blend Blazer has all the Spring vibes with customers hailing it as an “absolute stunner”.

“Loving the lilac linen blazer,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

“Can we take a moment for this new $30 Kmart blazer,” another fan shared alongside several photos showing off its versatility.

“There are so many ways you can wear this blazer and the lilac is so subtle that it blends so well with neutrals and even other shades of colours,” Melbourne fashion blogger Bec Maree added.

Bec paired it with flair white pants in one snap, jeans and heels in another, and white trainers for a more casual look.

“Taking the new @kmartaus linen blend Blazer from day dates, to running errands, to nights out, to corporate events,” she wrote.

Her post was bombarded by followers also eager to purchase the new item.

“Love all the different styles,” one person wrote.

Kmart womenswear buyer Jamie Chugg told news.com.au customers are really loving mood-boosting colours this Spring/Summer.

“Lilacs, pops of fuchsias, fresh Summer stripes and prints are the top picks as they spark feelings of joy and happiness,” she said.

Jamie said the long-line Linen Blend Blazer has already been incredibly popular, describing it as the “perfect wardrobe staple”.

“You don’t need to break the budget to freshen up your wardrobe this season and be wearing the latest trending pieces,” she said.

Earlier this year, a pair of $20 jeans were all the rave.

Fashion stylist and Trash To Treasured blogger, Tina Abeysekara, posted about Kmart’s Super High Rise Straight Jeans on Instagram, telling her 134,000 followers they were one of her “affordable classics”.

In an Instagram Reel, Tina explained they had a “little bit of stretch”, making them the perfect pair for everyday wear.

“Stayed comfy all day! Meetings and then I went out for a cheeky drink in them,” she said in the comments.

Other shoppers agreed, adding they couldn’t believe the jeans were from Kmart.

“Unreal. The jeans look like jeans I spent $200 on! Rushing to Kmart!” one person wrote.
