Kmart releases stunning new affordable summer fashion collection

Australia’s favourite budget store has just dropped a new line — and there’s one item that’s so luxury looking you won’t believe it’s Kmart.

Summer is fast approaching so it’s time for us to pack away our beloved jeans and think about a wardrobe more suitable for those scorchers that are coming our way.

Whether you’re a skirt and top fan or prefer to survive the clammiest season of all in a floaty dress, buying summer essentials can quickly add up.

But Kmart — who have been dominating the budget fashion stakes this year — has come in hard with some stunning options that won’t break the bank.

The brand’s mustard “Strappy A-line Maxi Dress” is sure to be a winner among the many dedicated Kmart fans — many of whom have set up their own Instagram pages showing snaps of themselves rocking the surprisingly chic designs.

At just $20, the floaty outfit, which features an on-trend tie-dye pattern, is set to be splattered all over our Instagram feeds in the next few days.

Other standouts in the “Summer Daze” collection include a pair of neutral tone linen pants that have a cute-as-a-button tie waist and will cost budget conscious fashion lovers just $18. There’s also a matching short-sleeved wrap top for $17, which when paired with the pants looks like a comfy AF jumpsuit that’s perfect for keeping cool at work during the sticky summer days.

Kmart has also taken its accessories up a notch, creating a leather crossbody bag that looks so stylish, you won’t believe it’s Kmart. Its $25 price-tag is pretty unbelievable for real leather.

Just last week, a leopard-print bikini that costs $12 blew up online when shoppers realised they weren’t just cheap but also had a built-in tummy control feature that helps wearers look and feel their best.

One of the first items to officially put Kmart on the fashion map was an orange polka-dot dress that cost $25.

The cheap and cheerful outfit caused chaos among savvy fashion fans when Tina Abeysekara, from trashtotreasured, shared some snaps of her rocking the flattering midi-dress on her Instagram account.

As a result, the dress became one of the most highly sought-after items in the brand’s stores, with people even selling theirs on eBay for more than cost price.
