Fashion Nova’s Tiny ‘underboob’ bikini roasted by shoppers

The tiny swimwear trend continues with this latest design being labelled “ridiculous” and becoming the subject of savage mocking online.

How to wear an upside down bikini

When it comes to swimwear, you want something that leaves you feeling secure while flashing just the right amount of flesh for sunbaking.

The fear of accidentally popping out of your bikini is real and there’s nothing worse than when you suffer an awkward malfunction at the beach, right?

But while your swimwear letting you down is something we’ve all dealt with at one point or another, budget retailer Fashion Nova appears to not have the same concerns as us normal folk.

Judging from their very revealing new underboob swimming costume, this brand likes putting the test to the extreme.

From the back, the “Euphoria Bikini” looks like any other ordinary two-piece.

But don’t be fooled. It just about covers the top of your boobs while leaving underneath totally exposed.

And, there’s no way you could ever get away with actually swimming in it, as many of the brands 15 million followers took great pleasure in pointing out on Instagram.

“If I had these tatas, hell no I’d be scared for them to fall out,” one person wrote.

Another added: “This suit is made to take pictures in, not to actually swim or sunbathe.”

“I don’t think she got the right size,” another mocked.

“So what happens if she does a cannon ball in the pool?” someone else teased.

Meanwhile, others took it a bit more seriously, declaring the swimmers “look ridiculous”, adding the impractical two-piece was “gross” and offered “no support”.

“But why …” one simply stated.

Although underboob bikinis were all over our social media feeds in 2017 — with stars like Kim and Kourtney Kardashian rocking them regularly — we can’t help wonder about the rather odd tan lines they’re likely to leave.

Not to mention, the prospect of flashing every sun worshipper on the beach too. Talk about awkward.

It’s not the only bizarre bikini trend that has caught attention recently, with the “naked” bikini really confusing shoppers.

Just like the name suggests, the tan coloured swim-set with clear straps barely looks as if you’re wearing any clothes. However, since the OTT design went viral, the bikini now comes in a variety of colours — and influencers have been clambering over themselves to be seen wearing one.

Duct tape bikinis have also caused a frenzy as they’re made purely from strips of sticky tape and only for the very daring of wearers. Minuscule buckle bikinis have had the same effect online, with people branding them “ridiculous”.

Let’s not forget the “upside down” bikini, which is so racy a mummy blogger from the UK couldn’t resist mocking it.

But the biggest viral swimwear set of all is undoubtedly the V-string bikini that heralds from Australia. This controversial item of clothing sparked the trend that has now arguably spiralled out of control.
