A pair of shoes from Kmart with a $25 price tag is catching the eye of many shoppers on social media.

An item from one of Australia’s biggest department stores is setting social media on fire, with many eager to get their hands on it.

Kmart’s Chunky Hardware Detail Loafers retail for $25 and come in black, ranging from a size 5 to a size 11.

The shoes began to crop up on social media last month, with many saying they are “obsessed” with the footwear.

Twitch streamer @alliehollystephens took to TikTok to tell her followers: “You need to get these chunky loafers from Kmart.

“Look how cute and only $25.”

She added that paired with frilly shocks, she was “obsessed” with the shoe and that they were comfortable.

Another TikTok user known as @mishfeeney also praised the loafers, calling them the best version of the shoe.

“I am not going to gatekeep because they are just too amazing.” she said, before unveiling the Kmart version of the shoe.

“They are like perfect for winter and only $25.”

She said she had been looking at loafers from other brands but they all had more expensive price tags of at least $80.

“Run and get a bargain,” she said, finishing her video.

Another added: “siiiiigh, fine, consider me influenced.”

One social media user said she hoped that the department store carried her size, as she wanted the shoes.

Another joked that it was fate as they were on their way to Kmart at that moment anyway, so they were going to add the shoes to their shopping basket after seeing the video.
