$17 Kmart ‘dupe’ of $150 Khloe Kardashian designer item
Kmart has released a bodysuit that some are comparing to the Khloe Kardashian co-founded Good American version, which retailed for $150.
A new $17 item from one major department store is being compared to a designer item more than seven times more expensive.
Kmart recently released the Seamless Bodysuit in black, tan and pop pink for just $17.
TikTok user, @itsaishanikora, compared the bodysuit to one sold by Good American, which was co-founded by Khloe Kardashian.
The Good American bodysuit retails for $150.
“Kmart have the Good American knock off bodysuit suits, and they’re only $17,” Aisha said.
“I was so excited, I got the brown and the black.”
Fellow TikTok user @itsme.amanda.marie also loved the bodysuit but said the wide straps made it difficult to wear a bra with.
Social media users were divided on the bodysuit, with some saying it was just too short for them.
“Slaaay it looks so good gf,” one user commented.
Another said: “I will be buying them in every colour asap.”
“I wish there was a size 20 as I’m tall and the 18 is just a bit too short,” another commented on the clip.
“Why is Kmart Aus sooooooooooo much better than Kmart NZ,” one person commiserated.
Another explained: “I tried these on but it definitely squished my boobies.”
A Kmart spokesperson said there was a huge push for shapewear at the retailer.
“Shapewear has been making a big comeback at Kmart and our customers are loving our Seamfree Bodysuit, available in Black, Tan and Pop Pink,” a Kmart spokesperson told news.com.au
“We love seeing customers embrace shapewear as an everyday item as well as for occasion dressing, with customers loving the comfort, function, and fashion of the range.
“With shapewear starting from just $6 at Kmart, this range represents amazing value for our community.”
