Leni Klum wears vegan red leather to New York Fashion Week show

The 19-year-old is turning heads at New York Fashion Week after copping criticism for posing in a lingerie shoot with her famous mother.

The daughter of one of the world’s best known supermodels is turning heads in her own right at New York Fashion Week.

Leni Klum — the daughter of Heidi Klum — was attending the Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet Spring 2024 presentation over the weekend.

She wore a formfitting red vegan leather trench coat from the brand, with a price tag of close to $1400, that accentuated her figure.

The 19-year-old was wearing nothing underneath the trench coat except black highwaisted underwear and knee high boots.

Alice and Olivia, the brand behind the coat, commented on her photograph, saying: “Revenge red! stunning as ever”.

One social media commenter simply wrote “fire” while another said “bellisima”, which means “extremely beautiful” in Italian.

“Omg I’ll say it again, you’re the most beautiful supermodel in the world,” another social media user commented on the clip.

Earlier this year, Leni’s famous mother Heidi Klum turned off comments on her Instagram after receiving backlash over a lingerie shoot with her daughter.

The German-American supermodel shared pictures of herself and her 18-year-old daughter as part of their new campaign with Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi.

“If you see me and @leniklum on billboards all over Germany … tag us and we’ll share our favourites on our [Instagram] stories,” the 50-year-old captioned the post.

But Klum’s post was bombarded with comments from critics, declaring they weren’t comfortable with the nature of the photoshoot.

“I would not be proud to show my daughter off in this way. I would feel embarrassed and sad,” one wrote.

“Somehow it’s weird to see mother and daughter in underwear,” another commented. “I mean, how many were photographed like this with their mother.”

“First thing I think of when I want to pose in my intimates: ‘My mum should be here!’” a third said, to which one person responded: “I know, kind of gross.”
