AAFW 23: Stars’ outfits at Bec + Bridge, Iordanes Spyridon Gogos shows
An influencer turned heads in an unbelievably skimpy outfit in Sydney this week, with fans branding the bold look “insane”.
Afterpay Australian Fashion Week is in full swing, and as the week rolls on, the outfits are getting more and more wild.
While guests opted for power suits and figure-hugging full length dresses during opening events, it seems guests have chose to flash a bit more flesh as the festivities warm up.
Iordanes Spyridon Gogos’ runway show on Tuesday night drew a number of famous faces in scantily clad outfits – including model Imogen Anthony.
The former Big Brother star wore a colourful two piece that showed off her midriff, upper thigh and flash of sideboob.
It also featured ruffles that cascaded down her arms and legs.
The 32-year-old, who dated radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands for eight years before their split in 2019, teamed the bold look with a pair of chunky silver glitter boots and a matching mini clutch.
Anthony styled her blonde locks in a messy up do to complete her look.
Simone Holtznagel, who was spotted at the Michael Lo Sordo show with her fitness trainer boyfriend Jono Castano on Monday, was also in attendance with her other half again.
The pair posed for snaps front row, with Holtznagel opting for a black mini dress paired with sheer stockings and cream heels.
She added a black leather-look coat to her look to keep warm in the chilly Autumn weather.
More famous faces turned out for the Bec + Bridge show, including model Erin Holland and influencer Sammi Robinson.
TV presenter Holland opted for a striking silver dress that shimmered with every step from the Australian designers, and wore her signature brunette locks in loose waves.
Her gorgeous ensemble was crafted by celebrity stylist Donny Galella who has worked with Holland for years.
Meanwhile Robinson went for a completely different look, rocking a revealing black skirt from Bec + Bridge that she teamed with a minuscule halter-neck top from her own fashion label One Mile.
The skirt was from the brand’s latest collection, and forces the wearer to abandon wearing underwear thanks to a revealing side panel. However, a strap in the design also gives the appearance of a “G-string”, a ’90s fashion trend that has been making a come back recently.
“Oh my god,” one fan commented on her Instagram snaps, while another simply said: “Insane.”
“Holy smokes!!” someone else remarked.
As one stated: “Wowza.”
Robinson wasn’t the only attendee who ditched their undies, with one model opting to go braless in a mesh dress.
Dominique Elissa attended the Wynn Hamlyn show on Tuesday took it up a notch after wearing a tiny rhinestone bra the night before, this time exposing her nipples in a red mesh dress.
