Mia Fevola breaks silence on split with Richmond Tigers‘ Daniel Rioli

The 20-year-old has opened up about her relationship status after sharing a sweet Instagram message to her Tigers player ex.

Mia Fevola has addressed her relationship status with Richmond Tigers star Daniel Rioli after posting a sweet grand final message to the AFL player on her Instagram.

Mia and Daniel, who is a member of the famous AFL Rioli family, had been a couple for two years before splitting earlier this year.

The budding fashion designer, who is the daughter of AFL star and radio host Brendan Fevola, told the Herald Sun that despite the former couple‘s closeness, she was single.

“Daniel and I are really good friends. I’m not seeing anyone,” she said.

“Daniel is really close to my family (he lived with them for two years while the couple were dating). He always talks to them. I don’t think he’ll ever be able to get rid of dad.”

Daniel moved into the Fevola household in 2018 after he and Mia began dating and became a common fixture in family photos and holidays.

Brendan had been close to his daughter’s boyfriend, telling Triple M last year how he had mentored Daniel after the young player was dropped by Richmond.

Mia is the stepdaughter of Brendan Fevola.

“I had a pretty good footy career but I threw it away by being stupid, so I think I’m a pretty good person to sit down and have a chat,” Brendan said.

“I just said, ‘Mate, you’ve got to get into the club and do some extras.’”

As well as starting her own fashion label MALLT earlier this year, Mia is also a makeup artist and works for her mum Alex Fevola’s company, Runway Room Cosmetics.

Mia and Daniel announced their split in February, after weeks of speculation about their relationship, sparked by the 20-year-old removing her mention of him from her Instagram bio.

Mia is a budding fashion designer and makeup artist.

The couple announced the break-up with statements on their respective Instagram accounts, with Mia writing that the pair were still on good terms.

“Hey guys, I know you all have a lot of questions,” she wrote.

“Daniel and I are no longer together however we still love and care for each other very much and remain the best of friends.

“Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

Daniel echoed his ex-girlfriend’s statement, writing that Mia was “always going to be my best friend” alongside a picture of her and a love heart emoji.

“Hey guys, I know everyone is wondering what is going on with Mia and myself and I hate to say this but we are no longer together,” he wrote.

“However we both love each other and still remain close as best friends. Hopefully you guys can respect that.”
