Singer Rita Ora suffers a cheeky wardrobe malfunction on red carpet in Sydney

It was a total bummer for Rita Ora when a gust of wind caused a temporary loss of dignity on the red carpet.

Sydney’s revolting weather got the better of singer Rita Ora last night when a gust of wind caused a temporary loss of dignity on the red carpet.

Making her way to the front door in a semi-sheer Iris van Herpen gown at Cartier’s Precious Cargo party, the 28-year-old was momentarily embarrassed as the wind lifted her dress, exposing her bare butt to the waiting photographers.

Loose floaty fabric and a strong gust of wind are a recipe for disaster.

Ever the pro, the British pop singer recovered to pose for cameras in front of the Cartier sign.

That’s better. Less wind. More dignity.

Later in the evening, she changed into a black long-sleeve jumpsuit with embellished buckle at the waist to perform for the partygoers.

Prior to the Cartier event, Ms Ora performed her new single Let You Love Me at the ARIA Awards telling The Daily Telegraph that she had a slight case of nerves.

“I think it is more pressure because it is not your territory,” she said.

“You want to impress, you want to be here and to adapt to the incredible culture and the music that is coming out of Australia so I kind of think it is more pressure.”

Ms Ora will return to Australia for a full national tour in March to support her new acclaimed album Phoenix.

“It will be a full blown concert,” she told the Telegraph.

“It is glitter and bells and unicorns and donkeys … actually no donkeys … kangaroos and confetti.”
