Reality star Paige DeSorbo’s dad reacts to her racy outfit: ‘Too low’
She’s no stranger to flashing the flesh, but one reality star has proved no matter how famous you are, your family will always “keep it real”.
A popular reality star caught in the midst of a fashion disaster has proved that even famous people are dished uncomfortable home truths by their parents.
Paige DeSorbo, who stars in Bravo’s Summer House, is currently on holiday in Italy with her family, including her boyfriend Craig Conover and her parents.
But the fashion writer, who is loved by fans for “keeping it real”, has copped a dose of her own medicine after her mum and dad admitted they thought her outfit was a little too revealing.
In a series of videos shared on TikTok with her 525,000 followers, DeSorbo explained she was worried her chocolate brown dress – which featured two cut-outs across the upper thigh and hips – looked “like a bathing suit and cover up”.
Unsure whether it was appropriate for the dinner they were getting ready for, DeSorbo sought the opinion of her mum and dad, who promptly explained she might want to show less flesh.
“I mean you look really good, but I think you have it a little too low,” her dad can be heard stating.
Her mum then chips in, offering a solution: “I have tape if you want to tape it up.”
Fans were then quick to weigh in on the video, which DeSorbo captioned “please advise”, giving their opinion on the outfit too.
“There’s no way you were going to go out with that outfit,” one remarked.
“Your dad was spot on with the fashion advice! Love your parents for this,” another agreed.
As one shared: “Love your mum for keeping it real with you.”
DeSorbo, who also co-hosts one of the highest rating US podcasts Giggly Squad with Hannah Berner, later updated followers on the “saga”.
“I tucked this in,” she said, revealing one cut-out was now covered by the skirt, which was sat asymmetrically across her hips.
“But if anyone sees me out and says, ‘nice bathing suit’, you’re dead.”
Fans lapped up the “adjusted” outfit, agreeing her parents were right to suggest she “cover up”.
“Tucking the one side was the move, stunning as usual,” one wrote.
“Thank god you adjusted cos I was like girl you really out here showing your minge hinge?!” another relieved follower said.
“STUNNING!!! The tuck was the save,” someone else agreed.
As another declared: “It was def too revealing, that’s much better.”

DeSorbo is no stranger to wearing revealing outfits, with her social media feed filled with snaps of her in flesh-flashing designs, including a recent black number with a cut-out across her torso and bust.
The “wild” dress, which was made by MÔNOT, caused a divide among her Instagram followers, with some labelling its “underboob” “tacky” as others described it as “banging”.
She appeared unfazed by the criticism, sharing a series of pictures of herself in the dress multiple times on Instagram.
