Despite copping heat in the past, Heidi Klum and her lookalike daughter Leni have once again appeared in a lingerie campaign together.

Heidi Klum and her lookalike daughter Leni have stunned in a Christmas campaign for Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi.

The mother-daughter supermodel duo – who are ambassadors for the label – have sparked repeated criticism in the past for posing in “creepy” underwear photo shoots together.

But it hasn’t deterred them – images from the new Intimissimi campaign show Heidi and Leni in nearly identical crimson lingerie sets, holding wrapped red gifts.

Leni, who shared a series of photos to her Instagram, was bombarded with comments from critics, declaring they (once again) weren’t comfortable with the nature of the photo shoot. “Doing a photo shoot with your mother in lingerie is still weird,” one comment, which was liked more than 1000 times, read.

“There is something childlike about the daughter which makes it a bit creepy,” another wrote.

“Am I somehow the only one who thinks this is cringe?” a third said.

Meanwhile Heidi, who shared footage and imagery of the campaign to her own Instagram feed, disabled comments – a move she’s been forced to make in the past under similar photos of the pair.

Leni, 19, is the eldest daughter of Heidi and Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, and was also adopted by Seal in 2009. The Kiss From a Rose singer, 60, was married to the Victoria’s Secret model from 2005 to 2014.

While she’s following in her mother’s footsteps, Leni last year told People that her parents’ fame is “just a fact” – one she insisted has not impacted her work ethic.

“I did get help starting off, and I know that people would dream to start off with what I had,” she said of the “nepo baby” debate.

“I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to take what was gifted to me by my mum. But I am doing the work and putting in the time. Now I’m working on my own, travelling alone, going to school. My mum and I just have the same love for the same thing.”

In the past, she’s also addressed criticism of her posing with her mum for Intimissimi – telling Page Six she doesn’t read comments that have been made about her work.

“I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions,” she told the outlet last October.

“I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mum. I think the photos turned out great and we had an amazing time.

“I just don’t look at [social media commentary], honestly. If I don’t look at it, I don’t have to pay any attention to it, so I just don’t know what is there. I had an amazing day, an amazing shoot, it’s out, I love it.”
