Khloe Kardashian hits back after being trolled over ‘chicken hands’

The reality star copped a barrage of abuse for a “scary” detail in one of her Instagram posts – prompting her to clap back at the latest cruel swipe.

Poor Khloe Kardashian just can’t seem to catch a break lately.

The reality star has hit back at trolls after they mocked her hands – yes, hands – in an Instagram post last week.

Khloe had posted a photo of her wearing thigh-high Gucci boots while sitting in a car, with the caption: “Betrayal rarely comes from your enemies.”

Many fans speculated that the caption was in reference to on-off boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s revelation last month that he had fathered a child with another woman.

But trolls zeroed in on another detail in the photo: Her hands.

Khloe was wearing long nude acrylic nails in the photo, with some claiming they made her hands look like “chicken hands”.

“Her hands looks so, so scary on that third picture,” one person said.

“You forgot to filter your hands too,” another wrote, making reference to the fact Khloe is often accused of sharing heavily edited photos on Instagram.

“Beautiful pics but your hands scared tf outta me! Spray tan them too!” another follower said.

The taunts continued when Khloe posted a photo of her modelling her denim label Good American, with the mother-of-one posing topless in a pair of the brand’s jeans.

Khloe used her arms to cover up her chest, meaning her hands weren’t visible in the shot – you can probably guess where this is going.

“Hiding those hands I see – 10 points!” one person commented.

“Oh lord, she’s hiding her hands,” another follower swiped.

But Khloe responded to that last comment, writing: “Lol never. My hands are beautiful baby.”

Over the years, Khloe has faced increasing scrutiny over her appearance, and has been accused of photoshopping images and videos of herself posted online.

Khloe has admitted to getting a nose job and facial injections, telling talk show host Andy Cohen last June: “Nobody’s ever asked me. You’re the first person in an interview that’s ever asked me about my nose.

“I’ve done, sure, injections – not really Botox. I’ve responded poorly to Botox.”

In April 2021 the Kardashian team went into overdrive trying to get a candid photo of Khloe taken down.

Fans praised the “beautiful” snap for showing another side of the reality star, but the family’s representatives fought a losing battle to have it scrubbed from the internet.

“The colour edited photo was taken of Khloe during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, said in a statement at the time.

“Khloe looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.”

In response Khloe also posted two near-nude videos to Instagram of herself “unretouched and unfiltered”.

She said she had “struggled with body image her whole life” and argued that “you should have every right” to ask that unflattering photos of yourself are not shared.

“In truth, the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment my entire life to be perfect and to meet others’ standards of how I should look has been too much to bear,” Khloe said.

“For a decade now in photos, every single flaw and imperfection has been micro-analysed and made fun of to the smallest detail and I am reminded of them every day by the world.”
