Jess Rowe stuns in ‘sensational’ dress at Sydney’s Gold Dinner
The 51-year-old TV personality left fans with their jaws wide open after she shared snaps of a glamorous gown she wore to an exclusive event.
Jessica Rowe has left fans gobsmacked after she turned up to an exclusive charity event in a “stunning” fitted gown.
The 51-year-old TV personality wore a patterned, full-length dress from Australian brand Romance was Born in collaboration with Jenny Kee, to Sydney’s Gold Dinner on Wednesday night.
Jess took to her Instagram sharing a series of snaps of her colourful outfit, saying she was “beside herself to be wearing this work of art”.
“Thank you & big love to these iconic creative souls!” she said about the brand and fashion pioneer Jenny Kee.
Jess’ brightly patterned dress featured a miniskirt hemline, which flowed out into a train at the back.
It put her toned legs on full display. She paired sheer black stockings with black pointy-toe stilettos and accessorised with a pair of jewelled waterfall earrings.
The halter-neck dress also featured a plunging V-neckline and TV journalist’s cropped hair was coloured pink.
“And thank you @bynormie for transforming me to be ready to go to the ball!!! You are a genius!!” Jess continued, thanking the makeup artist for the glam look.
Hundreds have since taken to Instagram, branding the 51-year-old “absolutely stunning”.
“Looking sensational Jess,” one follower wrote.
A second said: “A PERFECT GODDESS!!” while a third added: “Wow! Love that piece on you!”
Others described her look as “fabulous” and “gorgeous”.
More than 600 of the city’s leading philanthropists and VIPs attended the event, which benefits the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
This year’s event marked the 25th anniversary of the exclusive dinner, which was first held in 1997 and has raised more than $30 million in the years since.
Location details of the invite-only event is revealed to attendees the week of the dinner — and this year it was held at The Venue in Sydney’s Alexandria.
SAS star Candice Warner was among the long-list of celebrities at the exclusive event.
The 37-year-old opted for a glamorous long pink dress by Mariam Seddiq which featured a thigh-high split up one side and a one-shoulder neckline with ruffling.
She accessorised with a pair of gold heels ‘By Lana Wilkinson’ and matching beaded pink bag by ‘Cult Gaia.
Candice, who is the wife of cricketer Dave Warner, wore her long blonde hair out straight and slicked back.
Ian Thorpe, 39, was also in attendance, turning up to the charity event in a suave black suit. It marked his first public appearance following the recent death of his ex-boyfriend, Ryan Channing.
The retired Olympic swimmer wore a black tuxedo, crisp white shirt and black bow tie as he posed for photos.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old model Georgia Fowler stunned in a long silver, off-the-shoulder dress.
The new mum’s beaded asymmetrical sheer gown was by Sydney-based brand Beare Park.
Georgia had her hair slicked back in a bun and opted for a bronzed makeup look. She attended the event with her partner, Nathan Dalah, who is the founder and CEO of eatery, Fishbowl.
Francesca Packer, 27, made a rare public appearance with her grandmother, Roslyn Packer, 84, with both women posing for photos.
Francesca wore a dazzling full-length blue dress that featured a plunging neckline. She competed the look with jewellery from Bulgari, including a high sapphire necklace and matching ring.
The billionaire heiress took to Instagram before the event to give her 307,000 followers a “sneak peak” of her luxurious accessories.
Roselyn, philanthropist and widow of late media mogul Kerry Packer, opted for a long black dress, paired with an intricately beaded jacket, black heels and a matching necklace and bracelet.
Other stars who attended the event included TV journalist Sarah Harris, shoe designer Terry Biviano and husband Anthony Minichiello, and Sydney’s eyebrow queen Kristin Fisher.
