Celeste Barber’s stunning photo inside secret Ralph Lauren suite at Aus Open
Comedian Celeste Barber has shared the jaw-dropping photo from a star-studded Australian Open party that left her husband flabbergasted.
Celeste Barber was among a string of celebrities who attended a star-studded party at the finals of the Australian Open.
The Australian comedian was snapped inside the Ralph Lauren suite at Rod Laver arena in Melbourne alongside Hollywood actor Russell Crowe and girlfriend Britney Theriot.
Ralph Lauren partnered with Vogue Australia to host the VIP guests for an evening of tennis, champagne and an “exclusive dining experience”.
Celeste wore a khaki midi dress to the fancy party, but kept true to herself by pairing the designer number with a pair of comfortable white sneakers.
She finished her casual tennis ensemble with her hair tied back, loose strands framing her face.
Celeste’s laid-back outfit is in stark contrast to the cheeky parodies her 9.4 million followers know her for, which often see the mum, and soon-to-be Netflix star, in an array of hilarious bikini-clad scenarios.
In a recent skit, Celeste “went to the tennis” wearing a white tutu and tank top, making her stylish real-life appearance even more striking.
The 40-year-old also posed for a photo with her husband Api, later sharing the snap on Instagram with the caption: “Holy s**t.”
MeanwhileUnhinged star Russell posed alongside his partner of two years outside the designer brand’s pop up before heading inside.
Russell wore a black Ralph Lauren polo shirt for the event while Britney opted for a floral one-shoulder dress.
Scottish actress Karen Gillan also posed alongside the Hollywood megastar during his rare appearance at the Aus Open.
Actress Olivia DeJonge, who most recently played Priscilla Presley in Baz Kuhrmann’s Elvis biopic, was one of the select few lucky to snag an invite.
She opted for a blue halter-neck gown with a striking white pattern paired with a nude Ralph Lauren handbag.
Interestingly, Vogue Australia Editor-in-Chief Christine Centenera appeared to be wearing a navy blue peplum top at the event, a fashion trend that soared in popularity in the Noughties but has since been described as a style “everyone loves to hate”.
Other guests included model Akon Changkou and actress Bella Heathcote.
Ralph Lauren has been the “official outfitter” of the Australian Open for three years, dressing up to 4000 staff at the 2023 event, including all on-and off-court officials.
As well as the private suite, which earlier in the tournament hosted former Miss Universe Australia Maria Thattil and TV host Andy Lee, Ralph Lauren also had a store where tennis lovers could customise their own iconic products.
Both the uniforms and towels used by Australian Open staff are created with a range of sustainable materials that include functional performance features, including moisture-wicking properties and UV protection, all constructed for active play.
