The new mum, who gave birth just a few months ago, stepped out in a sheer outfit ahead of a film festival, showing off her toned physique.

Emily Ratajkowski has stepped out in a sheer black dress, showing off her toned figure, just months after giving birth.

The 30-year-old model and new mum opted for a fitted dress with a mesh bodice as she made her way down a New York City street ahead of her appearance at the Tribeca Festival in New York City on Saturday.

Emily was seen leaving her apartment in the all-black outfit as she waited for a limo.

The halter dress featured a mesh piece that showed off her abs with her toned legs also on display.

She paired the look with strappy black heels that wrapped around her ankles and accessorised with a black clutch and sunglasses.

After arriving at the film festival, held at Spring Studios, the model joined friend and comedian Amy Schumer on stage as part of the Storytellers series, where she spoke about motherhood, social media and politics.

Emily became a mum for the first time after giving birth to her son Sylvester Apollo Bear on March 8, with movie producer Sebastian Bear-McClard.

She has since caused a stir after she shared a series of new photos of her and the three-month-old on holiday sporting matching swimwear.

It didn’t take long for comments to begin pouring in, with some social media users declaring the photos “insane”.

“How does Emily Ratajkowski look like that after a pregnancy SHE’S INSANE,” one person wrote.

“Please tell me how Emily Ratajkowski got her pre-baby body back within three months of giving birth,” another added.

Emily gave birth to her first child, Sylvester Apollo Bear on March 8, has since shared a series of snaps with her bub, showing off her toned body.

In April, there was a similar reaction when the supermodel shared another series of photos to promote her bikini line.

As the new mother posed in a giraffe print bikini on TikTok, many lamented it was “impossible” given how recently she had given birth.

“Didn’t you just give birth one month ago woman?” one asked.

“Can’t believe you just had a baby,” another commented.

“No way this woman had a baby last month,” another said.

Her decision to regularly flaunt her post-baby body has drawn criticism online, with Australian actress and mum-of-two Claire Holt taking to her Instagram to brand it “annoying”.

“I try not to be the Grinch on here, but I really wanna say something cos it’s annoying me. If you post a picture of your completely flat stomach 10 days after having a baby and call that body positivity, to me that’s the same as posting a picture of the millions of dollars in your bank account and calling that success positivity,” Holt said in a video posted to her Instagram stories in March.
