Emily Ratajkowski called out by actress Claire Holt for post-birth flat tummy photo
Emily Ratajkowski shocked fans with this photo taken just 11 days after giving birth. Now, an Aussie actress has slammed her for posting it.
Emily Ratajkowski has defied all odds and fully returned to her famous figure just eleven days after giving birth to her baby son.
The model gave birth to Sylvester Apollo Bear on March 8th, her first child with movie producer Sebastian Bear-McClard.
Emily, 29, has completely returned to her flat stomach, a little over a week after welcoming her son.
But not everyone was a fan of the photo: Australian actress and mum-of-two Claire Holt, best known for her roles in The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars, told her 6.3m followers on Instagram she found the photos “annoying.”
“I try not to be the Grinch on here, but I really wanna say something cos it’s annoying me. If you post a picture of your completely flat stomach 10 days after having a baby and call that body positivity, to me that’s the same as posting a picture of the millions of dollars in your bank account and calling that success positivity,” Holt said in a video posted to her Instagram stories.
“It might be true, but it makes other people feel s**ty about themselves, and it’s not normal, and you’re an outlier, and you’re lucky. So maybe don’t show that part? Can we just use Instagram to try and make people feel included and not feel shit about themselves?”
She also shared a photo of herself two weeks after giving birth to one of her children, contrasting with Em Rata’s flat stomach:
New mum Ratajkowski took to Instagram to flaunt her post-baby body while modelling new pieces from her Inamorata Woman collection.
The influencer posed in a silky long-sleeved top and matching loose pants covered in an artful light blue and white design.
Emily left her top wide open, giving followers a glimpse of her cleavage and ultra-flat stomach.
In a second post she shared a clip where she zoomed in tight on her tummy, showing off her impossibly thin waist.
The model also took to her stories to promote the loungewear, a shocking eleven days after her son arrived.
Emily gave birth on March 8th, though she formally announced the news three days later on the 11th.

In a sweet photo while breastfeeding her son, she told the world: “Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side. Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life.”
The Gone Girl star shared the news of her pregnancy in October of 2020, as she graced the cover of Vogue magazine in celebration.
During her interview with the fashion publication, Emily explained that her child would grow up non-binary until they reach age 18.
“When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after ‘Congratulations’ is almost always ‘Do you know what you want?’“ she regaled.
“We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then.
“Everyone laughs at this. There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with,“ she told the interviewer.
“The truth that we ultimately have no idea who—rather than what—is growing inside my belly.
“Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are?
“This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled,” she gushed.
Emily shares her firstborn with indie movie producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, whom she married in February of 2018.
Though she had known him for years, their wedding came as a shock, as she had just broken up with music composer Jeff Magid a month prior.
An insider later told Us Weekly, though, that “Emily has known Sebastian for years. They were all in a friend group. He wasn’t a stranger.”
The world-renown lingerie and bikini model was very vocal about her bodily changes during pregnancy, frequently sharing photos of her developing bump.
“Sometimes I feel like Winnie the Pooh in human form, other times like a fertility goddess with a juicy butt,” she explained.
“I took this on a day where I was feeling the latter. Either way, I know I’m going to miss this bump and those kicks very soon.”
